Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God.

Thanks to the Embassy Institute, I have been introduced to the wonderful and insightful preaching of Mr. Tom Harmon. Everytime I watch one of your messages, I know I will laugh quite a bit, with all the humor you put in them, but I also better myself, through Jesus Christ.
Thank you for being such a great servant of Christ!

Bro Tom, I've always been stirred like an old can of enamel paint each of the last 13 years I've sat under your preaching.O how God has used you and Joyce! This past weekend at Perry was no exception, you wont know what a great help that series on SW was to me. You may recall that my dear wifw Nicki went to be with Lord almost 1-1/2 ago, and our new pastor at Warren Community (you probably remember Jim Thompson was there when you last preached there?)is coaching me in getting my life and ministry back on track. I especially loved your teaching on "first things first", I did have a question (we ran out of time at the end),, regarding Exod 20:5, 34:7 ",,no means cearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity upon the fathers,,to the 3rd and 4th generation", I have struggled with the fear of how my sins consequences may be transferred to my children ,ect? If you might help me understand this better?, sure would appreciate it. I continue to lift you up in my prayers to the "the God of heaven!"

Hi Tom, It has been a few years. I am 5 weeks from becoming an RN. You may remember me as one from Grove that was doing some itinerant preaching and sensed God's call on my life to preach. Well I guess I was wrong, I have wanted to be a nurse for most of my life. I hope that when my schedule free's up some I may visit when you preach. God has been good, I am no Holy man, I am a sinner that has only God and HIS grace to cling to...for this I am grateful!!! I hope to dig back into HIS WORD when my career is finally established. ( I don't know if you will even get this...LOL! apparently you do not do much online.....LOL anyway, God bless)Dan

Dear Tom,
When I was a kid you were the pastor of our church in DeWitt. I loved your passion when you preached. You set in my very young mind That God loves me so much. I wish I could be their this weekend in Perry. My mom Connie B. is able to attend at least. I will pick her brain when I see her. God bless you and your family.

Tom,
I just returned from the Mens retreat at camp Barakel. I realized that I have chosen several very bad habits over my relationship with Jesus... But no more. Today October 23 that all ends.
I am going to cherish and develop my relationship with my perfect Savior.(Exercise)
I was listening! :)
Your teaching helped me see my error.
Thank you for your love and knowledge of the Word.
I am excited to see where my Savior leads me and I am ready to follow. I have counted the cost!
God Bless you and your family.
Your Brother in Christ

I recently sat under your teaching at the Silver Berch Retreat...
I started reading your book: Lord Teach Us to Pray.
On Saturday evening (Oct 15th)I tried to go to bed at 7:30 pm but the Lord had me read more of the book. On Sunday morning the Lord woke me at 5:30 am. I saked, "Lord, why am I awake 3 hours before I need to be awake?" I was overwhelmed with the urge to pray & to pray using the outline in the book. When I began praying for individuals in my life I was overcome with a peace I cannot explain & God showed me answered prayers that I had not even noticed were answered. I was awe struck for over 1/2 hour, basking in the presence of God & knowing in my heart..to my core that I am free... I lack in the words to explain or describe the awesome power of God that I experienced...It was profound & motivating..I want that more.

I broke down in tears as I went to the post and received a small package from the Journey staff where my daughter is attending a Journey of the Heart. It meant a lot that they would think about me- a parent. There were 3 powerful DVDs enclosed.I have listened to your DVD about prayer for your children. It really touched my heart.
God and I are serious about prayer: I have had 3 broken wrists since Sept 2009 and so I know what quietness and aloneness with the Lord has done for me.
I have started praying your prayer from my heart as well as personalizing the 16 aspects of prayer for our cjildren. I know God keeps me from vain repetitions and leads me to keep my heart in touch with Him.
For also today I just broke out in prayer to God through the "statement of faith". That is so full of richness as I personalized it.
I didn't know if this would be a public comment or not, but I give glory to God for the work He is doing in my heart...as the words
"mold me and make me dear Lord" can be very painful. His grace is sufficient.
Thanks also to those who provide your website ministry.
I have been encouraged as a saint of the Lord recommended I pray back Psalm 139 to the Lord...I have been working on that from my heart, not the head. Your scripture memory in your preaching certainly blesses my heart....even though at times the "speed" gets away from me!!!
God bless you and your family ...

Dear Tom, I heard at Camp Barakel during high school week and you inspired me sooo much. When you spoke the first night on prayer I realized how much I have to learn about prayer. Later in the week when you spoke on James 4:17 I realized how ungrateful I really am. Overall I just learned so much. While at camp I bought your book By the Word of God. I just started reading it and am excited to keep on reading it. I just wanna thank you so much for everything you spoke on last week. You completely changed the way I look aty life and my relationship with the Lord. THANK YOU!!!
